Ignore directions mentioning Armory Ave coming north on Conn Ave. That merge entrance has been blocked off Instead, make a right at the light at Knowles (Shell Station) Then make a right at the stop sign to Armory Ave Then make a left to Mitchell St
From Virginia and Areas South (via I-495 Capital Beltway):
Take the Connecticut Avenue exit toward Kensington (left at light) Turn RIGHT at light onto Knowles Avenue (Shell Station) Turn RIGHT at stop sign onto Armory Avenue Turn LEFT at stop sign onto Mitchell Street Parking is in the rear of the building If parking lot is full, it is okay to park in the bank parking lot across Armory Avenue
From Prince Georges County and Areas East (via I-495 Capital Beltway):
Take the Connecticut Avenue exit toward Kensington (right at light) Follow Virginia (and areas south) directions from step #2 From Olney and Areas North:
Take Georgia Avenue South (if coming from Connecticut Avenue South, skip next 2 lines of directions about University Boulevard) Turn RIGHT onto University Boulevard University merges with and becomes Connecticut Avenue. Stay in LEFT lane Turn LEFT at traffic light at Knowles Avenue. (Shell Station) Note: During the evening rush hour, the left turn arrow light at Knowles does not appear. Turning left at the intersection just before (by the Safeway) is sometimes easier. You then turn right onto Armory Avenue at the old-fashioned filling station Follow Virginia (and areas south) directions from step #3

The Kensington Town Hall / Town Center / Armory is a red brick building located behind the Kensington Safeway at the corner of Armory Avenue and Mitchell Street. The parking lot entrance is on Mitchell Street. If you are looking for a large red-brick building that looks like a castle, you cannot miss it.
