Claybourne Elder, Euan Morton, Brynn O’Malley, Michele Ragusa, et al. Set for KC Rep’s Into the Woods

Full cast and creative team have been announced for Tony Award nominee Moises Kaufman’s production of the Stephen Sondheim-James Lapine musical Into the Woods, to run at Kansas City Rep, September 11-October 4.

The cast will include Lauren Braton (Rapunzel), KC Comeaux (Jack), Patrick DuLaney (Steward/Father), Claybourne Elder (Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf), Zachary Hoar (Boy), Katie Kalahurka (Stepsister), Katie Karel (Stepsister), Melinda MacDonald (Cinderella’s Stepmother), Euan Morton (Narrator), Kip Niven (Mysterious Man/Cinderella’s Father), Brynn O’Malley (Baker’s Wife), Zachary Prince (Baker), Michele Ragusa (Witch), Brandon Sollenberger (Rapunzel’s Prince/Cinderella’s Prince), Tina Stafford (Jack’s Mother, et al.), Dana Steingold (Little Red Riding Hood), and Lauren Worsham (Cinderella).

The creative team will include Curtis Moore (music director), Daniel Pelzig (choreographer), Narelle Sissons (set designer), Clint Ramos (costume designer), Japhy Weideman (lighting designer) and Andre Pluess (sound designer).

The season continues with David Cale’s Palomino (October 9-November 15); A Christmas Story: The Musical (November 20- December 27); Laura Eason and the Lookingglass Theatre of Chicago’s adaptation of Around The World in 80 Days (January 22-February 14); Nathan Louis Jackson’s drama Broke-Ology (February 19-March 21); William Inge’s classic play Bus Stop (March 12-April 4); and Matt Sax and Eric Rosen’s new work Venice (April 9-May 9).
