Annalee Jeffries to Star in Off the Main Road at Inge Festival

The 31st Annual William Inge Theatre Festival will present a preview presentation of William Inge’s Off the Main Road, April 18 at 7:30pm in the William Inge Theatre. Michael Wilson, who is currently directing The Best Man on Broadway, will helm the production.

Off the Main Road is a domestic drama is set in the early 1960s. Mrs. Faye Garrit, an elegant woman desperate in a crumbling marriage, escapes to a rustic Missouri resort, accompanied by her withdrawn daughter and disapproving mother.

Annalee Jefferies will star as Mrs. Faye Garrit, with the cast also featuring Robert Clohessy (Manny), Barbara Dana (Mrs. Bennett), Joseph Gomez (Gino), Cynthia Hyer (Mrs. Burns), Nicole Lowrance (Julia), Asa Walker (Victor), Dean Hayse (Red), and Jonathan Clothier (Police Officer).

The design team will include Harty Blackert (set, light, and sound design) and Doug Spesert (costume design).
