THE FLORIDA THEATRE
Directions
From Jacksonville's Northside, Amelia Island, and Georgia
Take I-95 south to the Union Street exit, then go east 12 blocks to Newnan Street. Turn right, then go eight blocks to the corner of Forsyth Street. The Theatre is right in front of you.
From Jacksonville's Westside
Take I-10 east to I-95 north. Use the Forsyth Street exit; follow Forsyth for 15 blocks to the Theatre. Alternately, take the Union Street exit and follow the directions as from the Northside.
From Arlington
Take the Arlington Expressway across the Matthews Bridge. At the end of the Matthews expressway, turn left at the third stoplight onto Newnan Street. Go eight blocks to the corner of Forsyth Street. The Theatre is right in front of you.
From Jacksonville's Southside and St. Augustine
Take I-95 north to the "Downtown" exit, and use one of the right two lanes to cross the Main Street Bridge (the blue drawbridge). Both lanes of the bridge continue onto Ocean Street at its foot; go one block to Forsyth Street and turn right. Half a block down, you're in front of the Theatre.

The magnificently restored Florida Theatre is recognized as one of the finest concert venues in the Southeast. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. From the Vaudeville acts and silent films of its earliest days to today's blend of performances of all kinds, The Florida Theatre has served as Jacksonville's premier entertainment center since 1927.
