BEST SHOW AT THE FRINGE BY MILES

by B. H. on Monday, Sep 6th, 2010 at 4:09 pm
I saw a bunch of the shows at the festival and without doubt, this was the best show. By far. It was well written, wonderfully acted, and the houses were packed and loving every word. It is a very smart and clever commentary on the American corporate workplace, with its own language, class system and relationships. I look forward to seeing more work from these folks.

the meeting review

Coming off the back of edinburgh fringe, i was not expecting a similar level of talent at this new festival. However, the meeting was a compelling piece of writing and acting which merged the two vastly different worlds of Absurd theatre and corporate america. whether you are familiar with samuel becketts absurd theatre or not, the scripts contempory spin had the audience constantly giggling. Best show at the fringe.

Saw this show on opening night Thursday. The premise was simple - two corporate types waiting for a meeting to start. I liked it - the show was simply done, yet complex, engaging, and strong. Really impressive performances - I lost track of time and was surprised when it was over. I find myself thinking about it afterwards. Thumbs up!
