Over one billion people heard Dame Kiri Te Kanawa greet the first dawn of the new millennium on a global telecast, but only 850 lucky individuals will be able to join this goddess of song in an intimate Martin Theatre event this summer. With the acclaimed director of the program for singers at Ravinia's Steans Institute for Young Artists at the keyboard, the memorable star of Ravinia's 2001 and 2008 Gala Benefit Evenings will reveal the serene and majestic beauty of her peaches-and-cream voice that has made her a living legend.
