Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution centers around the young and charming Leonard Vole, who spends many of his evenings with a rich middle-aged woman, Miss French. When she is found murdered, the naive Leonard is the chief suspect. Though the case proves irresistible for veteran defense lawyer Sir Wilfrid Robarts, the trial takes a turn when unexpected evidence is revealed and a bombshell is dropped on the courtroom audience.
