WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Stages Repertory Theatre announces the winners of the 2000 Southwest Festival of New Plays. The festival celebrates outstanding new plays in each of four categories: plays by women, plays from the Latino community, plays for children and plays from and about Texas. Each of the winning plays will be read during the Southwest Festival of New Plays 2000.

The annual festival features professional readings of winning plays, as well as a panel discussion, all free to the public.
