Henry's boss Hubert and his wife have arrived a day early for a dinner party - an important dinner party that Henry had carefully planned to impress Hubert. As the evening disintegrates, Yasmina Reza's play - translated by Christopher Hampton - takes us through the same scenario three different times, with the noncompliant tot, nothing to eat but Cheez-its and Chocolate Fingers, and several bottles of wine all playing a part.
