The Alley Theatre has selceted five plays by local teens to be featured in its upcoming summer teen playwright festival-HYPE (Houston Young Playwrights Exchange.) The plays featured this year will be: - Failed Attempts at Flattery by Matt Hardigree, age 17. Directed by Stephen Aleman. - Hominids Are People Too by Ginger Turner, age 17. - Abigail and Anthony by Joshua Drimmer, age 19. Directed by Dennis Draper. - Ave Maria by Victoria Zyp, age 19. - Street Corners by Andre Ford, Age 19. Directed by Stephen Aleman.
