WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Tony and Academy Award-winner from famed writing team John Kander (music) and Fred Ebb (lyrics), Chicago kicks off TUTS' 38th Season. This sultry musical boasts such show-stopping numbers as "All That Jazz," "Cell Block Tango," "When You're Good To Mama," and "Razzle Dazzle." Produced by Tony Award winners Barry and Fran Weissler, this National Tour of Chicago features the Tony Award-winning direction of Walter Bobbie and Tony Award-winning choreography by Ann Reinking in the style of the legendary Bob Fosse.
Set in the 1920s, Chicago tells the story of Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, two women seduced by the pursuit of fame and media attention. Back by popular demand following a sold-out engagement in the summer of 2003!
