Werewolves and vampires and mummies, OH MY! What do you get when you add equal parts of Agatha Christie, Monster Mash and Marx Brothers? You get a hysterical evening of theatre that is destined to leave you breathless with laughter. Lady Enid, the new bride of noted Egyptologist Lord Edgar, is having a hard time adjusting to life in Mandacrest Mansion. The portrait of his previous wife, Irma Vep, is watching her every move, as are shifty servants and a mysterious stranger prowling the moors surrounding her home. The Mystery of Irma Vep is cited as one of the best plays of 1984 by New York Times.
