WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Kate Mulgrew stars in Tea at Five, Michael Lombardo's portrait of screen and stage legend Katharine Hepburn. This one-woman show begins in Hepburn's home in her Fenwick estate in Old Saybrook, Connecticut in September 1938. After a series of film flops, Hepburn contemplates her childhood in Hartford, education, and her start in show business. The second act takes place in 1983 as Hepburn, injured in a car crash, reflects on the triumphs of her career.
