WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A 27-foot pool of shimmering water sets the stage for a lush, funny and vibrant retelling of Ovid's myths. Gods and humans meet, clash and make love in and around this glistening waterscape. Playwright and auteur director Mary Zimmerman examines each legendary tale as a parable of transformation in a contemporary, accessible style. In Metamorphoses, the stories of King Midas, Cupid and Psyche, Narcissus and many more are interwoven into a seamless evening of laughter, tears and revelation.
