WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Constant Star, a musical biography of African-American civil rights pioneer Ida B. Wells, receives its New England premiere as Hartford Stage?s fourth MainStage offering. Written and directed by Tazewell Thompson, the show has enjoyed sold-out engagements at Washington?s Arena Stage and Actors Theatre of Louisville.
The premiere of Edwin Sanchez?s Diosa, previously announced for this slot, has been postponed to a later season.
