WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Over four decades since its groundbreaking Broadway debut, Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun remains a beautifully written and heartfelt story of an African-American family at a crossroads. After the death of their patriarch, The Younger family awaits an insurance check that will help them secure a better life. How that money will be used to realize their dreams sets the family, already at odds with the world outside due to their race, at odds with each other. Seret Scott directs.
There are additional 2pm matinees on Saturdays, February 25 and March 18.
