Works by Adam Gwon, Ray Leslee, Bryan Putnam Set for 2012 National Music Theater Conference

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center has announced the four pieces that will be developed and presented at the 2012 National Music Theater Conference, running June 20 – July 13 in Waterford, CT.
During the course of the conference, each work will undergo the O’Neill’s signature development process, employing acclaimed professional actors, directors, and music directors in an intensive series of rehearsals, discussions, and public readings.
This year’s selections for the conference are When We Met, with book by Dan Collins, and lyrics and music by Julianne Wick Davis, in collaboration with Sally Wilfert and Michael Winther; String, with book by Sarah Hammond, and music and lyrics by Adam Gwon; A Good Man, with book and lyrics by Philip S. Goodman, and music by Ray Leslee; and The ToyMaker, with book, music and lyrics by Bryan Putnam.
