Robert Eli, Kate MacCluggage, Ruth Williamson Set for Bell, Book, and Candle

Casting has been announced for Long Wharf Theatre and Hartford Stage’s co-production of John Van Druten’s Bell, Book, and Candle, which will play at Long Wharf Theater, March 7-April 1, and Hartford Stage, April 5-29. Hartford Stage Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak will direct.

In the play, Gillian Holroyd is unlucky in love and restless in her life. She also happens to be a witch. So when she watches the love of her life get engaged to her college rival, she uses every trick up her sleeve to stop the impending wedding.

The cast will feature Kate MacCluggage (Gillian Holroyd), Michael Keyloun (Nicky Holroyd), Robert Eli (Shep Henderson), Gregor Paslawsky (Sidney Redlitch), and Ruth Williamson (Aunt Queenie).

The design team will include Alexander Dodge (scenic design), Fabio Toblini (costume design), Matt Richards (lighting design), and Lindsay Jones (sound design).
