The John Drew Theater presents Mercedes Ruehl in a staged reading of Viva La Vida! by Diane Shaffer. The story of Frida Kahlo and her art, the political legacy of Villa, Zapata and the revolution of 1910, her spinal injury, pain of lost motherhood and the desperation of immobility.
