One of the most accomplished performers in the blues, Rory Block has been lighting up festival stages and blues clubs across the globe for years. Throughout her lengthy and respected career, Block has received five W.C. Handy Blues Music Awards for her work, including twice being named "Best Traditional Blues Female Artist" by The Blues Foundation. She has committed herself to preserving the Delta blues tradition and bringing it to life for 21st century audiences. A traditionalist and innovator at the same time, she wields a fiery and haunting guitar and vocal style that redefines the boundaries of acoustic blues.
