The Fantasticks, the Off-Broadway show that ran for over 40 years and launched Rita Gardner's career as the original Louisa (the love besotted girl next door) is reinvented by this magnificent singing actor in a one-woman show - a loving back at the glory days of Off-Broadway. Gardner's eclectic cabaret act provides an overview, through song, chat and backstage stories of the Off-Broadway movement as it blossomed in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s.
