WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

After achieving success as the lead singer of the platinum-selling folk-rock group The New Bohemians, Edie Brickell settled down in the 90's with husband Paul Simon and her three children. Brickell performs selections from Volcano, her first new albumn in over a decade, featuring the welcome return of Edie's laid-back melodies, wordly lyrics and stylistic detours. Splitting the bill is brilliant guitarist G.E. Smith, one of the nation's most in-demand blues/rock guitarists and former Saturday Night Live Bandleader. G.E. has performed as a first call guitarist to Mick Jagger on Jagger's first solo albumn She's the Boss, as well as playing with David Bowie, Tina Turner and touring with the legendary Bob Dylan.
