Directed by Jaques Demy. Speaker: Michael Koresky Tuesday, July 13 - Belle De Jour A beautiful young woman married to a doctor who can't be physically intimate with him but instead works in a brothel in the afternoon while remaining chaste in her marriage. Starring Catherine Deneuve. Directed by Luis Bunuel. (1967) Speaker: Godfrey Chesire Tuesday, July 20 - Eva A Welsh novelist in Venice is humiliated by a money-loving Frenchwoman who erotically ensnares him. Starring Jeanne Moreau.
