WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The place is Malibu. The time is now. Charles Darwin is relaxing on a deck chair overlooking the Pacific . . . suddenly he's joined by two unlikely contemporaries. The debate over evolution, begun over a century ago, continues anew in this hilarious new comedy. Daniel Gerroll directs Darwin in Malibu, by Crispin Whittell. The cast includes Anna Chlumsky (My Girl I & II), Richard Easton (Entertaining Mr. Sloane; Tony for The Invention of Love), Neal Huff (Tony nomination for Take Me Out) and Hal Linden (Tony for The Rothchilds; 7-time Emmy nominee for Barney Miller).
