Karen Oberlin Set for Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts Spring Benefit

Mac, Bistro, and Nightlife Award winner Karen Oberlin will headline a spring benefit for Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, to be held in the Music Room of the historic Rosen House, on Saturday, April 30 at 8:30pm.

Oberlin will be performing her highly-acclaimed cabaret show paying homage to lyricist Yip Harburg, The Wizard of Words: Yip Harburg’s Songs of Wit and Wisdom. Songs will include “Over The Rainbow” and “April In Paris,” along with rare, unearthed treasures connected by fascinating and witty stories.

After the performance, attendees will be invited to a champagne and dessert reception with Ms. Oberlin.

This benefit supports Caramoor’s mission, which is to “enrich the lives of its audiences through innovative and diverse musical performances of the highest quality, mentor young professional musicians, and engage young children through interactive, educational experiences that deepen their relationship to and understanding of music.”
