About This Venue

The Alliance Theatre, the South's premiere professional resident theater, is one of the largest and most respected regional theaters in the United States. Located in the heart of Atlanta's Midtown, the Alliance Theatre Company is housed in the newly-renovated Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center. In addition to a variety of community outreach programs and a 69-year-old children's theater, the Alliance presents an innovative season of classic and contemporary plays. World and regional premieres are presented in the 800-seat Alliance Theatre and 200-seat Alliance Studio Theatre.
