I applaud your willingness to strike out on your own path as opposed to following all the other critics. But I do wonder whether the revival of this play has you caught up in what you believe to be the right interpretation of Becketts work. True, audiences have embraced or turned away from this play in the past...and there is something to be said for taste. But when it comes to Pages interpretation and the ability of this cast to bring out the contemporary Godot while staying true to the play itself...well, I think they nailed it. I guess we will agree to disagree
