Synopsis

The Asheville, North Carolina, storyteller David Novak performs his nationally acclaimed show about coming of age in Fort Lauderdale. In Smoke from the Everglades Novak weaves his own life story and Florida history into a tale of horror and hope, describing his triumph over personal difficulties and natural disasters with breathtaking eloquence and dramatic flair.
