Synopsis

I Ought To Be in Pictures, the summer offering of Director Peg Girard and Melbourne Civic Theatre, is the story of Herb, a Hollywood scriptwriter, whose teenage daughter arrives from Brooklyn bringing dreams of stardom. With his sometime paramour, Steffy, serving as his conscience, Herb's comic and heartfelt personal struggles give way to his desire to once again dive into fatherhood with hopes of this time getting it right.
