Charles Cochran plays the Royal Room at the Coloney Hotel as part of the ongoing Royal Room Cabaret Series. With a distinctive style and a jazzy chord sense, Mr. Cochran has been a mainstay at New York parties and nightclubs for the last three decades. He has played for Lee Wiley, Martha Raye, Anita O'Day and Judy Garland and has released several albums, including two on Fred Astaire's label and two for Audiophile. Cabaret legend Bobby Short has admitted he's "envied Charlie's ease with singing" and says that Cochran is "blessed with that easy, easy projection."
The Colony Hotel has been hailed by The Palm Beach Post as "the best cabaret venue in South Florida, if not the entire country."
Doors open at 6:45 PM for dinner, with the show beginning at 8:00 PM.
