Full cast and creative team information has been announced for Asolo Repertory Theatre's presentation of The Giver, based on the Newbery Medal-winning children's book by Lois Lowry. Directed by award-winning KJ Sanchez, the play will run October 20-November 8, with an opening set for October 24.
The Giver is an unconventional hero's tale set in a utopian world, that turns out to be not as perfect as it seems.
The cast will include Elisabeth Ahrens (Lily), Brent Bateman (The Giver), Heather Kelley (Mother/Rosemary), DeMario McGrew (Ensemble), Steven O'Brien (Chief Elder), Kevin O'Callaghan (Jonas), Randolph Paulsen (Ensemble), Jason Peck (Father), Michelle Trachtenberg (Fiona), and David Yearta (Asher).
The creative team will include Daniel Conway (set), Jill Wetzel (costumes), Sarah Mikrut (lighting), and Matthew Parker (sound).
