Ran Jia made her solo debut in 1995, and has since performed in Shanghai, Nanjing, Chengdu, Fuzhou, and Xiamen in China. She has won numerous awards including, First Prize and the Osaka Mayer Prize in the Shanghai-Osaka Chinese and Japanese Friendship Youth Piano Competition, First Prize in the Sichuan Youth Piano Competition and Second Prize in the National Xinghai Cup Piano Competition.
