With Christmas fast approaching, turmoil has broken out among the ranks of Santa's elite eight, the reindeer team that some have said carry all the burden of delivering presents to children on Christmas Eve. In a recent press conference, Vixen, a veteran team member, shocked the world by accusing Santa Claus of rape. Santa vigorously denies the charge, but all of the eight have taken sides and are speaking out, exposing the egos, labor problems and sexual deviancy that seems to run rampant among this seemingly benign and disciplined corps. In what now seems to be a rare occasion, The Eight have put their bickering aside and decided to come together to tell their stories, assisted by playwright Jeff Goode in an evening titled The Eight: Reindeer Monologues.
