WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Florida Rep opens the new year with a powerful, Tony Award-winning Best Play that is told through the memories of an illegitimate son, as he remembers his mother and her maiden sisters who raised him in an Irish village in 1936. Taking place during the pagan festival of Lughnasa, this haunting play is filled with humor and hope as a colorful cast of characters leave a lasting legacy on an impressionable 7-year-old boy.
