WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
After an very successful New York engagement in 1989 James Sherman's Beau Jest has been making audiences laugh with the antics of guilt-ridden Sarah Goldman. She hires an actor/escort to impersonate her future husband, who happens to be a doctor, to her very strict Jewish family. Come and see how the plan is uncovered, leaving Sarah scrambling for an explanation.
