This sassy, brassy musical spectacular is the stage remake of the classic 1933 movie. The famous Leading Lady breaks her ankle just before the show?s big opening on Broadway. Can the Understudy save the show at the last minute and become a star? This Cinderella story of Broadway is an exhilarating extravaganza of show business at its greatest. Winner of the Tony Award in 1981 for Best Musical, 42nd Street's songs include "We?re In The Money," "Shuffle Off To Buffalo" and "Lullaby of Broadway."
