Robert Parsons, Rick Foucheux, Sarah Zimmerman to Star in The Rivalry at Ford’s Theatre

Robert Parsons, Rick Foucheux, and Sarah Zimmerman are set to star in the Ford’s Theatre production of Norman Corwin’s The Rivalry, January 22-February 14, with Mark Ramont at the helm.
The show follows the fiery rhetoric and wry humor of the debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas over state’s rights, slavery and the intent of the Constitution, while adding the insights of Douglas’s wife, Adele. Parsons will play Abraham Lincoln, Helen Hayes Award winner Foucheux will play Douglas, and Zimmerman will play Adele.
Designers for the production include Helen Huang (costume design), Matthew M. Nielson (original music/sound design), Matthew Richards (lighting design), and Robin Stapley (scenic design).
