Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Rude Mechanicals’ The Spanish Tragedy

Full cast and creative team information has been announced for The Rude Mechanicals production of The Spanish Tragedy, set to run at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in College Park, January 15-31. Charlene V. Smith will direct.

Thomas Kyd’s play, written between 1582 and 1592, was the first revenge drama of the Renaissance period. The Spanish Tragedy examines the failure of communication and justice and the destructive consequences there-in. The cast will feature Donald Cook, Jaki Demarest, David Dubov, Rachel Duda, Joshua Engel, Michael Galizia, Lisa Hill-Corley, Bill Jones, Emma Klemt, J. Peter Langsdorf, Thomas L McGrath, Mara McKann, Brian Harrington Moors, Evan Ockershausen, and Maureen Shanahan.

The creative team will include Heather C. Jackson (costume design), and Patrick Mullen (set/lighting design).
