Linda Lavin, Jan Maxwell, Elaine Paige, Bernadette Peters, Terri White, et al. to Star in Kennedy Center’s Follies

Additional casting has been announced for the Kennedy Center’s production of Follies, featuring a book by James Goldman, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Eric Schaeffer will direct the production in the Eisenhower Theater, May 7-June 19.

As previously reported, Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters will play Sally Durant Plummer. The cast will also include Jan Maxwell as Phyllis Rogers Stone, Elaine Paige as Carlotta Campion, Régine as Solange LaFitte, Rosalind Elias as Heidi Schiller, Florence Lacey as Sandra Crane, Linda Lavin as Hattie Walker, David Sabin as Dimitri Weismann, Susan Watson as Emily Whitman, and Terri White as Stella Deems.

The production will feature choreography by Warren Carlyle. James Moore will serve as music director and will conduct the 28-piece Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra.
