Kennedy Center Announces Cast for Declan Donnellan’s Chekhov International Theatre Festival Productions

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has announced casting for the Declan Donnellan-helmed productions of Three Sisters and Twelfth Night, to be presented as part of the Chekhov International Theatre Festival. Both works will be performed in Russian with English surtitles, and feature designs by Nick Ormerod.

The cast for Three Sisters, to be presented October 19 and 20, will include Alexey Dadonov as Andrey, Evgenia Dmitrieva as Olga, Alexander Feklistov as Vershinin, Irina Grineva as Masha, and Nelli Uvarova as Irina.

The all-male cast for Twelfth Night, to be presented October 22 and 23, will include Alexander Arsentiev as Orsino, Alexey Dadonov as Olivia, Alexander Feklistov as Sir Toby Belch, Ilya Iliin as Maria, Andrey Kuzichev as Viola, Sergey Mukhin as Sebastian, Dmitry Shcherbina as Malvolio, Igor Teplov as Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Igor Yasulovich as Feste, and Mikhail Zhigalov as Antonio.
