A screening of the documentary Pray the Devil Back to Hell, followed by a panel discussion, as well as a series of post-performance discussions, are scheduled in conjunction with the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company's world premiere production Danai Gurira's Eclipsed. The play, directed by Liesl Tommy, will run August 31 - September 27.

The screening of Pray will be held on August 24. This movie, from director Gini Reticker, is about a small group of Liberian women who staged a protest in the midst of their country's civil war. Following the film, Dr. Patricia Morris, Executive Director of Peace X Peace will moderate a panel with Piper Hendricks and additional panelists to be announced.

The post-performance discussions that the theater has planned for the production of Eclipsed include a conversation with playwright Gurira (September 4) and a conversation with the performers (September 13). Additionally, panels entitled From Liberia to Belarus: Theatre for Human Rights (September 9) and Women in Conflict Zones (September 17) are planned.

In Eclipsed, the arrival of three women changes the world of the captive wives of a Liberian rebel officer. The cast features Jessica Frances Dukes, Dawn Ursula, Uzo Aduba, Ayesha Ngaujah, and Liz Femi Wilson.
