A special performance of Del Shores The Storyteller will be presented by Ganymede Arts at TOWN Danceboutique (2009 9th St. NW) on Friday, June 12.

This piece features the award-winning playwright, TV and film writer, director, and producer sharing real life stories that have inspired his writing. Shores is best known for his 2001 cult classic film Sordid Lives, based on his play, which has now also become a television series on MTV/LOGO. Some of the stars of the series, including Jason Dottley, will make special appearances at the event.

Shores’ other plays include Southern Baptist Sissies, The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife, and Daddy’s Dyin’ (Who’s Got The Will?).
