Stephanie J. Block, Debbie Gravitte, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Christiane Noll et al. to Join NSO at Wolf Trap

The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) has announced its programming and guest artists for its performances at Wolf Trap, America’s National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia, July 7-August 6. Emil de Cou serves as Wolf Trap Festival Conductor.

Jan Horvath, Debbie Gravitte, and Christiane Noll will join the NSO for Three Broadway Divas (July 9), featuring numbers from Gypsy, The Music Man, A Chorus Line, Wicked and more.

The Wolf Trap Opera Company will perform Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd (July 22), with James Moore conducting the NSO.

Marvin Hamlisch and Brian Stokes Mitchell with Stephanie J.Block (July 29) will feature the celebrated composer and the stage stars performing an evening of Broadway magic.

Steven Reineke will conduct the NSO in Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies (August 4), featuring video clips and songs from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Lion King.

Additional programming will include Tcheers for Tchaikovsky (July 7); PLAY! A Video Game Symphony (July 8); The 5 Browns (July 28); Casablanca (July 30); Tan Dun: Martial Arts Trilogy (August 5); and Arlo Guthrie and Time for Three (August 6).
