Irakli Kavsadze, Salma Qarnain, et al. Set for Synetic’s Midsummer Night’s Dream

Casting has been announced for Synetic Theater’s “Silent Shakespeare” production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to play the Kennedy Center’s Family Thater, May 28-June 14.

Based on the play by William Shakespeare, it will be directed by Paata Tsikurishvili, choreographed by Irina Tsikurishvili, and feature an adaptation by Ben Cunis and Paata Tsikurishvili. The piece will incorporate Synetic’s unique fusion of movement, music, dance and drama into what has often been called Shakespeare’s finest comedy.

The cast will include Irakli Kavsadze (Bottom), Salma Qarnain (Titania), with Philip Fletcher, Marissa Molnar, Ryan Sellers, Scott Brown, Vato Tsikurishvili, Katie Maguire, and Alex Mills.

The production will feature original music by Konstantine Lortkipandze with set and costume design by Anastasia Ryurikov Simes.
