John Epperson, Edward Gero, James Lecesne, et al. Set for Upcoming Studio Theatre Shows

The Studio Theatre, in Washington, D.C. has announced cast and creative teams for two if its upcoming productions.

David Mamet’s American Buffalo, which will star Peter Allas (Teach), Jimmy Davis (Bobby), and Edward Gero (Donny), will be presented in the Milton Theatre, May 5-June 13, with an opening set for May 9. Joy Zinoman will direct the production, and the creative team includes Russell Metheny (set), Michael Giannitti (lighting), Helen Q. Huang (costumes), and Gil Thompson (sound).

John Epperson (a.k.a. Lypsinka) has edited and will star as Leatrice in James Kirkwood’s Legends, io run in the Metheny Theatre, June 16-July 4, with an opening on June 20. The cast will also include James Lecesne (Sylvia), Tom Story (Klemmer), Roz White (Aretha), and Leo Christopher Sheridan (Boom-Boom). Kirk Jackson will direct the production, which will feature set design by Dan Conway, lighting by Michael Giannitti, costumes by Fabio Toblini, and sound by Gil Thompson.
