E. Faye Butler, Eleasha Gamble, Nicholas Rodriguez, et al. to Reprise Roles in Molly Smith’s Oklahoma! at Arena Stage

Arena Stage has announced casting for the return of its critically acclaimed production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! will return July 8-October 2 in the Fichandler Stage. Molly Smith will once again direct the production, which will have music direction by George Fulginiti-Shakar and choreography by Parker Esse.

Set at the turn of the 20th Century, Oklahoma! tackles issues of class, culture and convergence between farmers and cowmen in this rugged frontier.

The cast will feature original stars Nicholas Rodriguez as Curly, Eleasha Gamble as Laurey, E. Faye Butler as Aunt Eller, Aaron Ramey as Jud Fry, Cody Williams as Will Parker, June Schreiner as Annie Carnes, and Nehal Joshi as Ai Hakim.

The show will also feature Lucas Fedele (Ike Skidmore), Vincent Rodriguez III (Sam), Emilee Dupre (Vivian), Cyana Paolantonio (Ellen), Jessica Wu (Kate), Andrew Hodge (Slim), Shane Rhoades (Fred), Annie Petersmeyer (Virginia), Semhar Ghedremichael (Aggie), Cara Massey (Gertie Cummings), Hugh Nees (Andrew Carnes), Hollie E. Wright (Sylvie/Dream Laurey), Kyle Vaughn (Mike/Dream Curly), and Jessica Hartman (Female Swing).

The creative team includes scenic designer Eugene Lee, costume designer Martin Pakledinaz, lighting designer Michael Gilliam, and sound designer Tim Thompson.
