Works by Luis Alfaro, Mike Daisey, Robert O’Hara and More Part of Woolly Mammoth’s 2010-2011 Season

The Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company has announced its 2010-2011 season, which will open with Sarah Ruhl’s In The Next Room, or the vibrator play (August 23 – October 3), to be directed by Aaron Posner.

Sarah Benson will direct Gregory S. Moss’ look at nonrealistic look at a child beauty queen, House of Gold (November 1-28), which will feature designs by David Zinn. Over the holidays, the theater will be home to Second City, which will offer A Girl’s Guide to Washington Politics (December 8 – January 8).

In the new year, the theater will produce Luis Alfaro’s Oedipus El Rey (February 7 – March 6), directed by Michael John Garcés; Mike Daisey’s newest (and untitled) monologue (April 6-24), and Robert O’Hara’s Bootycandy (June 6 – July 10).

In addition to these productions, the theater will present Charles Ross’ One-Man Lord of the Rings (July 5 – August 1) during this year’s Capital Fringe Festival.
