Complete Cast Announced for Follies, Starring Jan Maxwell, Elaine Paige, Bernadette Peters, Ron Raines, and More

The John F. Kennedy Center for the performing arts has announced complete casting for Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman’s Follies, to run May 7 – June 19 in the Eisenhower Theatre at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Eric Schaffer will direct the production.

As previously announced, the principals in the show will be Bernadette Peters (Sally Durant Plummer), Jan Maxwell (Phyllis Rogers Stone), Danny Burstein (Buddy Plummer), Ron Raines (Benjamin Stone), Elaine Paige (Carlotta Campion), Régine (Solange LaFitte), Rosalind Elias (Heidi Schiller), Florence Lacey (Sandra Crane), Linda Lavin (Hattie Walker), David Sabin (Dimitri Weismann), Susan Watson (Emily Whitman), Terrence Currier (Theodore Whitman), and Terri White (Stella Deems).

The company will also feature Christian Delcroix (Young Buddy), Colleen Fitzpatrick (Dee Dee West), Lora Lee Gayer (Young Sally), Michael Hayes (Roscoe), Kirsten Scott (Young Phyllis), Frederick Strothers (Max Deems), and Nick Verina (Young Ben).

The ensemble will include Lawrence Alexander, Brandon Bieber, John Carroll, Sara Edwards, Leslie Flesner, Jenifer Foote, Leah Horowitz, Suzanne Hylenski, Danielle Jordan, Joe Kolinski, Amanda Larsen, Brittany Marcin, Edrie Means, Erin Moore, Pamela Otterson, Clifton Samuels, Kiira Schmidt, Brian Shepard, Sam Strasfeld, Amos Wolff and Ashley Yeater.

The production will feature choreography by Warren Carlyle. James Moore will serve as music director and will conduct the 28-piece Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, which will use Jonathan Tunick’s original orchestrations. The creative team will also include scenic designer Derek McLane, costume designer Gregg Barnes, and lighting designer by Natasha Katz.
