WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Set in 1985 in two tenement backyards of Pittsburgh's Hill District, King Hedley II traces the triumphs and trials of a community facing issues of family, unemployment, and crime. Infused with deeply human moments of comic banter and fellowship, this play by August Wilson speaks about the possibilities of new beginnings.
