Sheryl Crow's Diner, a musical adaptation of the 1982 film, is set to play at Delaware Theatre Company this winter. The musical will run from December 2-27, following its Signature Theatre world premiere earlier this year. Three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall directs.

Set in Baltimore in 1959, Diner follows a circle of childhood friends who reunite as adults for a wedding. The musical features a score by nine-time Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow and a book by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Barry Levinson, who penned and directed the original film.

No cast has been announced for the Delaware production. At Signature Theatre the cast featured Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County) as Barbara, Bryan Fenkart (Memphis) as Modell, Aaron Finley (Rock of Ages) as Billy, Josh Grisetti (Enter Laughing) as Shrevie, Erika Henningsen (Show Boat: Live From Lincoln Center) as Beth, Derek Klena (Wicked) as Boogie, Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years) as Eddie, Tess Soltau (The Addams Family) as Elyse, Matthew James Thomas (Pippin) as Fenwick, and John Schiappa (Rocky) as Older Boogie.
